The remains of the paramount ruler of Ebirand, Dr Abdulrahman Ado Ibrahim, were on Sunday buried in Okene area of Kogi State.
Before the interment, Islamic prayers were led by the Chief Imam of Okene Central Mosque, Salihu Ebere, who prayed for God to forgive all his shortcomings.
The late paramount ruler of Ebirand passed on in the early hours of Sunday.
The Secretary of Ebiraland Traditional Council, Salihu Sule, who confirmed the interment said the body of the late Ohinoyi was brought in late on Sunday around 6 30pm after which family meetings were held up till 8 pm before the burial took place around 8.30 pm.
Present at the funeral were sons and daughters of Ebiraland, the Kogi governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, the Attah Igala, Matthew Opaluwa and other royal fathers in Kogi.
Ibrahim was born on Februar7, 1929 and was the fourth traditional ruler and Ohinoyi of Ebiraland.
He was a son of the second Attah (now “Ohinoyi’’) of Ebiraland, Ibrahim Onoruoiza of the Omadivi Clan, who reigned from 1917 to 1954./SHARE THIS
