Mazi Nnamdi Kanu’s Special Counsel, Bar Aloy Ejimakor, has officially written President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, lamenting the refusal of the operatives of the Directorate of State Services (DSS) to allow his(MNK’s) specialist doctors attend to his life-threatening Ear-Nose-and Throat (ENT) problem.

In the short note, Ejimakor wrote:

“Dear President Tinubu,

“Few days sgo, I passionately urged you to release Mazi Nnamdi Kanu. You haven’t. Today, I respectfully urge you to direct the DSS to immediately permit #MNK (Mazi Nnamdi Kanu) the freewill to seek independent medical care, particularly for the ear surgery he needs as of now.”

He lamented that after going through so much troubles to advance the cause of arranging proper medical care for Nnamdi Kanu, the DSS made sure it didn’t happen, noting “this will not stand. Onyendu must get the proper medical care that he needs from physicians of his own choice.”

He further stressed, “today, the 6th of June 2023, the DSS denied Mazi Nnamdi Kanu’s personal physicians and ear specialist access to examine him and his personal medical records.

“After the doctors were initially cleared to proceed to the medical unit where they were to meet with Mazi Nnamdi Kanu for his ear examination, an agent of the DSS suddenly stopped them half way into the medical unit and asked them to leave.

“The doctors were confused. All efforts to know why they were being asked to leave proved abortive,” he further lamented, as the DSS, he said, “did not give any reason at all as to why Mazi Nnamdi Kanu’s doctors were suddenly asked to leave, after they were initially cleared to go in and meet him.”/SHARE THIS
