The remains of late Ondo State Governor Rotimi Akeredolu, have been retrieved to Nigeria for his funeral, The State Online can authoritatively confirm.
Reports say the plane conveying the body arrived at about 3:39 p.m on Friday, January 5, 2024, with the casket draped in Nigerian Flag of green-white-green.
Nigerians will be looking forward to the release of dates for the funeral ceremony as many political aides, associates and former buddies of the late politician will be hoping to pay their last respect.
Akeredolu died in the early hours of Wednesday, December 27, 2023, in Germany where he was being treated of prostate and blood cancer aka leukaemia./PLEASE SHARE
