Fire-spittting servant of God, Primate Elijah Ayodele, Head of INRI Evangelic Spiritual Church, has warned President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, to exercise caution on the way he handles the nation’s socio-economic programmes to avoid citizens from losing the temper and start stoning him in the streets, emphasizing that he shouldn’t wait until that happens before he changes his hard ways of administration.
He cautioned Tinubu that the nation’s socio-economic condition must be given first priority since it is becoming worse every day.
Stressing this in a statement released by his spokesperson, Oluwatosin Osho, the clergyman warned that if the president doesn’t address the issues, there will be large-scale protests that he cannot fathom, warning that yelling and booing at him in his home state of Lagos was just a sign of coming danger.
He said people are hungry and salary earners can no longer sustain themselves with their earnings, warning the president not to wait till people start stoning him and every politician before realizing that he needs to get to work.
“If Tinubu doesn’t get to work immediately and find a way to solve our economic issues, there will be massive protests. The people are crying already, salary earners are not satisfied and it will get to a state where governors will not be able to pay salaries again.
“Don’t wait till they start stoning you and every politician before working, you need to do something now; there is serious hunger in the land. It will also affect some African nations. The president should do the needful,” he said.
Just recently, President Tinubu’s compatriots in his home state of Lagos State, went gaga in Idumota uptown of the Lagos Island, yelling and booing at him while passing through the area, shouting in Yoruba language: “ebi npa wa oo, Baba” (meaning, “we’re dying of severe hunger o, Baba!”).

Rather than exclaiming joy at the home-coming of their son in Lagos, his home state, Nigerian President Bola Ahmed Tinubu got the greatest shock of his life, when Lagos residents and traders at the popular Idumota market, Lagos Island, yelled and booed at him and decried the increasing hunger and desperation inflicted on them by the President, one of their own.
The residents were seen in a trending video telling President Tinubu in Yoruba language that they are dying of severe hunger – “Ebi npa wa oo, Baba”, groaning that this is against his pre-election promises./PLEASE SHARE
