Young 26-year-old Buruji’s son clinches Ogun Assembly seat to end incumbent APC candidate’s tenure

Late Senator Buruji Kashamu’s son, Rasheed Kashamu, 26, has been declared the winner of the Ogun State House of Assembly election into Ijebu North Constituency 1after ending the incumbent APC candidate’s tenure.

Rasheed of the People’s Democratic Party polled 10, 004 votes to wallop the incumbent Hon. Sylvester ‘Niyi Abiodun (a.k.a SLY) of the All Progressives Congressives (APC).

At 26, the younger Kashamu will be joining the likes of Rukayyat Shittu, also 26 of Owode /Onire State constituency of Kwara State, among others, to be on the list of youngest House of Assembly Members in contemporary Nigeria.

He has a B.Sc in International Business and Management from Brunel University, London.

He also has a Master of Science degree in International Finance and Investment from the University of Surrey./SHARE THIS
