Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, has issued a direct order to IPOB renegade, Simon Ekpa, to end the persistent sit-at-home exercise in the Southeast forthwith as he (Kanu) started the movement to “liberate our people and not to enslave them”. He further ordered him to to make this announcement on him media platform without delay.

In the handwritten instruction entitled “By direct order, I, Nnamdi Kanu hereby end sit-at-home, including Monday sit-at-home and any other proposed sit-at-home,” made available by his Special Counsel, Bar Aloy Ejimakor, the IPOB leader said: “I despise and will continue to despise any person or entity that wishes to inflict unnecessary hardship on our people.

“I have authorized Aloy (Ejimakor) to issue a press statement if you fail to make this announcement on your platform.”

Continuing, Ejimakor said: “The direct order was personally handed over to me when I visited him on 24th July, 2023 at headquarters of DSS, Abuja  and thereafter, I tried to contact Mazi Simon Ekpa via his WhatsApp Number but could not until 1:44am the following day, 25th July. 

“Since that early July 25 when I conveyed the order and he acknowledged it, he has not implemented the order or otherwise made the announcement on his media platform. Nonetheless, I made a conscious decision by giving him benefit of the doubt by according him more time to do the needful.”/SHARE THIS
