Mazi Nnamdi Kanu’s Special Counsel, Bar Aloy Ejimakor, has tweeted President Bola Ahmed Tinubu (@officialABAT), lamenting the pains Southeasterners (Ndigbo) had to go through during his predecessor’s administration.

Ejimakor lamented: “From 2015, Buhari made persecution of Ndigbo a prime government policy. He proscribed them, called them a dot, sent pythons to them & renditioned and detained Nnamdi Kanu,” asking “will you continue from where he stopped or do the right thing? Ronu.”

This is not the first time the Constitutional Lawyer-cum legal luminary will be writing the president since he assumed office on the issue of Nnamdi Kanu, requesting for his intervention to release the IPOB leader.

On June 25, he tweeted President Tinubu, reminding him that under the Constitution, the AGF (in practice: the president) has the power to stop any criminal trial, saying “So, President Tinubu doesn’t have to wait for the Supreme Court to undo the grave injustice (rendition) done by his predecessor by releasing Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.”/SHARE THIS
