In this series, we are going to talk about Femi Aluko, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Chowdeck who has made over N30billion as at October 2024 with 1 million registered users.
Chowdeck, a software development company, is a rapidly expanding food delivery platform that has significantly grown in influence within Nigeria’s food service industry since its launch in October 2021.
Recently, Femi Aluko, the CEO of Chowdeck, announced on his official LinkedIn page that the food delivery platform has reached 1 million registered users and achieved N30 billion worth of deliveries in 2024.
Femi Aluko says that when the company kickstarted in the year 2021, they had 319 users in their first month, and now, the company has 1million users just few weeks to the 3rd birthday of the food-delivery platform.
Apart from being the CEO of Chowdeck, Femi Aluko also serves as the Co-founder and by extension has two other co-founders namely, Lanre Yusuf who serves as Co-founder/COO (Chief Operating Officer) Chowdeck, and Olumide Ojo who serves as Co-Founder/CTO (Chief Technology Officer).
In the LinkedIn post, Femi Aluko showered encomiums on his co-founders and his team of 51-200 employees across the country for a job well-done in building the company with him.
Sharing a graphics that show the growth of Chowdeck from 319 users to 1million and a cake to celebrate the development, the CEO Femi Aluko wrote;
“I am beyond thrilled to announce that last week, we crossed 1 million registered users on Chowdeck. In the same week, we successfully crossed N30 Billion worth of deliveries in 2024 alone.

“In less than 3 years we have grown from 319 users in our first month, to over 1m users a few weeks to our third birthday.

“To every member of our team that has made this happen, my co-founders – Lanre Yusuf, Olumide Ojo and I are effusively grateful for giving us the opportunity to build this with you.

“We are grateful for the opportunity to continue to serve our over 3K businesses, 10k+ riders and now, 1m users in just 8 Nigerian states.
