I struggle to understand how people like Minister David Umahi sleep at night or the example he sets for his children.
I wonder how old people tell brazen lies, without shame.
We cannot say that the political idol worshipping displaced by David Umahi is hunger or poverty driven because he is not hungry or poor.
What then makes a man like David Umahi, ex Gov, ex Senator to stand by the mandate of another man by shamelessly telling lies and not the mandate of his country.
The answer is simple, the love of power and authority.
David Umahi sees Tinubu as Nigeria.
To stand by the mandate of Tinubu is to guarantee his own access to or share of power.
In the dictionary of Umahi, there is no Nigeria but Tinubu.
He says that Tinubu inherited a bad economy but doing his best to fix it.
Fix it by borrowing more to service existing debts.
Fix it by spending money as if Nigeria won a jackpot, N7B on cars, N6B on travels, N15B on house renovation, N2B on cars for his own wife and all sorts of reckless, unnecessary and non essential expenditure.
People like David Umahi suffer from inferiority complex. To over inferiority complex, they need access to power.
Therefore, he must kiss Tinubu’s shoes to continuously have access to power in order to address his inferiority complex.
Without Tinubu in power, Umahi sees himself as nothing therefore he must do all he can to remain a Category B Batists. He must strive to prove loyalty everyday, even if it means telling lies to 220m people daily.
David Umahi has sold his conscience for a bowl of rice from Tinubu.
But David Umahi must remember that there is tomorrow and that Tomorrow is bigger than David Umahi and tomorrow is bigger than David Umahi’s slave master, Bola Tinubu.
David Umahi is a shame and disgrace to his family and those he represents.
It is not true to say the SE has 5 Federal Ministers.
It is my opinion that the SE has zero Federal ministers today because Tinubu strategically nominated the worse of Ndigbos as ministers. Make no mistake, it is a deliberate strategy by Bola Tinubu.
One day, all these will be history./###
